New motherboard question

I am starting to tune up my PC, I bought a Pre-Built HP Pavilion http://goo.gl/KM2rW4 since I bought it I changed out the Video card for a EVGA 660 TI 3GB and the power supply for a Antec 550 watt 80 Plus.

I am looking into changing out my motherboard for a http://goo.gl/FLg4Di My question is will this work with the CPU and memory I have. I will be using this case http://goo.gl/yJzo6w

Any help would be appreciated.

No that motherboard will not work with your current CPU because your current CPU is an lga 1155 socket processor. The motherboard you want to buy is an AM3+ socket board and is only compatible with AMD cpu's as oppose to your intel CPU.

no. that is a AM3+ socket motherboard, made for AMD processors. You have a core i5 2400, which uses the lga 1155 socket. your memory will work fine with any motherboard that supports ddr3 memory.

No thats an intel HP you will need to get a new cpu I would just recommend selling it and getting something better like an 8320 build with that 660 ti or something better

what's wrong with an i5 2400? its on par give or take 1 or 2 fps with 8320 when it comes to gaming he just asked if the mobo was compatible with his current cpu

HP parts? NAh bruh, made by Foxconn which OEMS for alot of people even in the custom market and the i5 is made at intel fabrication plants which undergo the most rigurous quality control of any fab plants. he's fine.
