1080sli

So in most cases i find sli is bad but 2 way can work most times. How are the 1080s in 2 way sli? do you work well? or do they have alot of issues?

They have some microstuttering issues even with a HB bridge and a G-Sync monitor. That being said, when they work, they are freaking awesome. I tend to disable SLI for games that I can already get 80+ FPS with just one because the improved FPS isn't worth the trade off of lower frame times.

2x 970s were awesome for me, I'd recommend it as the gains are worth the negatives especially if you have gsync

My setup is too much for dual 970s now as i am trying to get over 100 fps. and with 3 screens on max setting's i get as low as  25-30 on tripple monitors. I like the idea though of if you can get good fps in a game then turning it off so it removes any chance of sli issues.

Never had a single issue with sli and I've done it on every series of cards since the 5xx's. Except the 10x0, had two but couldnt try it.

Just heat but I know you'll put them on water so it won't matter.

Yep water. I have never had much luck with sli but I guess it varies.

I only get two games a year so I never have sli issues. I don't play all those fancy games people tend to have issues with so I can't say how it would work.
