Aight, so I was using windows normally, and got a bsod, I had been getting them the last few days, but hadnt gotten around to posting on ltt. This time my pc wouldn't boot, and after a while it told me I didn't have a bootloader, I had a linux bootloader ready for when I wanted to try dual booting so I plugged it in, now I'm using unbuntu. how can I get back to windows without screwing stuff anymore then I need to. I didn't even install unbuntu, I jsut did try without installing because I didn't want to install over needed files.

Run off the Windows troubleshooting disk? Try start up repair.

I've done startup repair twice, first time it restored to earlier date, second it said it couldn't do anything and when I tried restarting it said I had no bootloader. What do you mean by windows troubleshooting disk.

Would making a usb boot drive and booting from it just get me to windows or reinstall it? I'm on windows 7, can you link me some linux comtabible stuff to make a bootloader. don't even know if I have a usb, both are plugged into my pc and it might be using both.

Hey, I'm on linux now, and just staying on linux until I buy a external hd. Can I partition part of my hdd from linux or can I only do it from windows. If I have to do it from windows is getting to safe mode the same as before. After partitioning how would I go about moving linux to the partition, right now I'm using a usb, which probably has enough space I just don't think it'll perform very well once I install more stuff. I'm going to put linux and more used/bigger files on the partition and other stuff like chrome and discord on the usb.
