NO BOOTING

hi i have a msi z170a tomahawk mother board and also a pioneer dvd writer so when i turn my new build pc on and press F11 i can see pioneer and my old hard drive that has a windows 7 on it .so when i choose dvd writer and put my windows dvd there i cant see the notification / press a button to boot / so whats wrong ?

This post is a mess. Please organize it a little better next time?

 

Sounds like the hard drive has win7 on it from an old PC but I really can't tell. It's like Romanized heiroglyphics.
