fix bad sector?

i have 500 gb wd green,and 2 partitiion

 

after running deep scan with hdtune pro,3 bad sector detected,from the (MB)location probably in the first partition

 

can it be fixed?hope this is just soft bad sector

"soft" bad sector?!?!

it's either a bad sector or it isn't - and you can't fix it

 

dunno if WD still has the tool, but they used to have a low-level format utility that marked bad sectors (reallocated) - all data on the drive will be wiped

 

oh, and ps: WD Greens were very shitty drives; you should consider throwing it out the window and get a new HDD

Sectors can't be fixed, only relocated. Bad sectors are an indication that the hard drive is dying however.
