I am having this really weird problem with my internet. For some reason it works fine as long as it is under heavy load, for instance when I am loading a youtube movie, but as soon as I turn it off, everything else stops working/work really slowly. An example that I have been able to reproduce four times now, is if I have a twitch stream up, it doesn't load if I am not downloading something, and as soon as I am, it works. And if I turn off the download, the stream shuts down.

I am sorry for the weird explanation, but it is a very odd problem... Do someone have any idea what it could be/how I could troubleshoot? (I just moved, and I didn't have this problem before with the same computer...)

Never encountered this or even heard of this before. Was it always like this? Did you recently get a new router/change any network settings? Have you called your ISP and asked? Really puzzled by this :/

Give your IPS a call. They might be able to tell you something.

What's your ISP? Have you validated it's not your pc's network card? Have you validated it's your router or ISP's fault?

After some more testing I think that the issue is that our tv on demand service is running on the same line, supposedly not on the same bandwidth, but apparently that is a load of bs... So when I am streaming a tv program it hogs all the capacity. Guess I will have to have a stern conversation with my isp
