SLI Support for PSU?

Hey all,

 

I'm shopping for a PSU and I've come across this, and it's specifications say it is not SLI/Crossfire ready, however, my motherboard is. Will this cause any problems? Also, will the single rail 12v cause any problems (should I look out for multi-rail)?

I see it listed here at tier 1, am I understanding it incorrectly?

In that case, should be fine, although depending on which GPUs you want to throw in there 550W might be cutting it a little too close for comfort.

 

So would those specifications listing SLI as not being ready be a problem?

There's no such thing as SLI "certification" for power supplies. You just need to know what's enough for your usage. What kind of GPU(s) do you plan to use?
