My PC sits right next to a TV mounted on the wall. I know I can hook the two up to do a dual screen monitor, and I had an idea for it with gaming. Is it possible for me to use the tv for split screen gaming? As in I play a game on Steam and have his side on the tv and mine on my monitor? And if not exactly, anyone know how I could make something similar to this work?

If the game supports split screen then you could do it but a lot of it would get covered by the bezels so it's not really worth it. Just put the whole game on the TV and do a console style split screen

What splitscreen games are there? I'd love something like CS or a racing game but can't find any splitscreen games

That's an F in the profile pic

I think any local multiplayer game would work. I'm guessing Forza would work do to it being a popular console title

If the game supports split screen, there will be an option to literally split the screens onto two monitors?

Yea but you could do something like 1x2 Surround and than if the game splits the screen in top and bottom you have 1 vision on each monitor.

Or if the game puts it left and right you can change the surround setting to 2x1.

Maybe i dont't get what @jeraico wants to do.

That is what im looking to do, it sounds so far lIke it's not really possible though
