Using Magic Lantern on a Canon

I have a Canon 70D and 1200D and i've heard that installing Magic Lantern opens up endless possibilities on cameras.

 

I'm wondering if anyone here has used it and if so what do they think?

There are at least three better places where you can ask about Magic Lantern.

• The Magic Lantern website's forum itself
• A place like Cinema5D or EOSHD
• Facebook group(s) where people use Canon DSLRs for filmmaking

At those places you'll very likely find people who use ML for their daily bread and butter.

The problem is that for both 70D and 1200D there's only development builds.

These builds can have lack in features and or be more buggy than the "stable" nightly builds.

Not completely endless. It depends on the camera and it offers certain features if you need them.

I think i may give it a try, i can always uninstall if i don't like it.

Make sure you follow the instructions for installing and uninstalling properly.
