I don't have much to say since I do not own that card, but from what I know it is a fine card and will perform well. It out performs the 6850 if I am not mistaken. Also Linus did do a video about performance of some cards recently and from what I saw it is a good card and a great buy. http://youtu.be/Aiz7HCdGEic

My brother has that card, hits about 60C (in games) with 1.3V on the core in a 23C room.

Runs cold is about all I can say. Well, its loud too, nothing a custom fan curve can't fix. I know he uses a 20%-40% fan curve.

By seeing performance of it your self do u think it can handle next gen games eg: Gta 5

I have a Sapphire 7870 myself. Well, had. It's out for RMA right now due to the Black Screen of Death issue that is common with Sapphire 7870's.. :S

I can say the 7870 is enough card for GTA IV, Crysis 3, Trine 2, MW3, BO/BO2, BF3, AC3, FC3. I haven't found a game I can't play with a 7870 @1920x1080. Yes I think it will be powerful enough for next gen games.

The only game I couldn't play on max settings was Minecraft...lol

I own that exact card and it's served me well. As mentioned before, it gets annoying at about 50-60% fan speed depending on your tolerance. I have a 30-50% curve set up and I've had no problems with it overheating. I don't actually know if it ever hits 50% since I have headphones on when I game. I've yet to try overclocking past the factory OC, but I would like to think that you can push it a little further with AMD's architecture and the 3 fans.

If you're into aesthetics, it's a reasonable looking card. The fans at the bottom aren't much to look at, but you don't see much of it when it's plugged in. For what you can actually view, the Gigabyte logo looks sharp next to the fan grills. Sometimes I wish the pcb were black since it would fit my build better, but that's more of a picky opinion. The black and blue PCBs take a little squinting to notice in my case, anyway. The PCI-E connectors aren't in the best spots, but you can make do with it with some basic cable management.

Overall I'm happy with it. Sometimes I wish the output options were more relevant to me since I don't use display port, but I only use two monitors so the hdmi and dvi is fine. It's more than capable of running the games you've mentioned, as well. For some perspective, from the benchmarks I've seen, an overclocked 7870 beats out a Nvidia's 570 and is even capable of competing with a 580. For 1080p gaming it's more than enough right now.

Here are some pictures of the card inside a case:

I have two MSI HAWK 7870s in crossfire and I absolutely love them, they do great in all games, except Far Cry 3(microstutter issues, probably will be fixed later).

We do not know how well it will perform on future games. GTA IV is a heavy game, but that is because it isn't optimized AT ALL. If it was optimized, then it would be able to be maxed out on a GTX 650ti even, but it can't because Rockstar got lazy.
