i have said this it CLEARLY SAYS CPU ON THE CABLE

Like I said earlier. The part which ISN'T split goes to PSU end. And the split end goes to mobo. Have you checked that this is the case? Its really hard to provide good help from this point on unless you show us in pics what the issue is.

Then either you've made a mistake or been supplied with the wrong cable.

You really could do with providing photographs if you want further assistance.

i cannot post pictures, and i have asked for a replacement cpu cable from evga in which it didnt fit either and ahve seen other peoples builds and have confirmed it is the right cable, i am not making a mistake however that i am using pcie no i was not it clearly states cpu on the cable,i am not blink i can read cpu on it,i am plugging the right end into the motherbaord and the correct end into the psu i have double checked this with several others, i am using the right cable that says cpu and have gotten a replacement which it was the correct one, so i dont even know how pictures can help in this scenario anyways considering nothing works here it is literally just a compatibility issue or something, so re cap even if i could pictures wouldnt be able to help anything considering i am sitting and looking at it myself i know what a cpu cable looks like i have seen pictures of this specific cable i know how it plugs in

As we really can't provide any further help. Your only realistic option, besides getting another PSU, is to go local PC repair/retailer shop and let them look at it. Or ask someone more experienced in building to take a look. Or you can RMA mobo if for some bizarre reason it would have wrong kind of 8pin connector.

If the cable is as you've described, it is categorically not the correct CPU cable for the model of PSU referred to in the OP.

Photographs may well be helpful, since they enable others to see what you're seeing, which could be useful for diagnosing the issue. Your reluctance to provide them is puzzling, and makes helping you further difficult. In fact, if I didn't know better, I might think you're trolling.

go ahead say im trolling doesnt make you right with you thinking im trolling, but the fact is i literally cannot post pictures i cannot change that fact i dont have 500 more dollars to spend, and i am looking at it myself i have the evga supernova g2 that is what i ordered i am looking at it,i says cpu on the cable i dont know what else you want and how picture will help the cable is what is given to me i have asked for a replacement they gave me the exact same cable a single solid 8 pin to two 4 pins there is no such thing with this power supply that has two 8 pins and a single 8 pin that goes into the power supply that comes with this unit evga has said to me that it doesnt not come with that only a single 8 pin to two 4 pins

Problem here is that PC hardware uses standard. Meaning that what connects to mobo must be certain like. And that mobo must have certain like other ends. Any incompatibility would mean one of the two sides isn't standard or has flaw. Since EVGA has send replacement cable, it means that cable is as it supposed to be. They wouldn't have two flawed cables like that. I haven't got extra stuff right now, so I can't check if you could try to connect 8pin to 24pin for testing purposes. This is first time I've even heard that cables won't fit to headers. I know they can be tight, I've had that issue with 3 PSUs. But they have always went in so that I've been able to push it to lock with flathead screwdriver.

It seems that way. And since everything should be standard hardware, people here have hard time to believe just your word.

Well considering I am here looking at it and it looks nothing like it is they are describing and that someone actually did a drawing of what it should look like and it doesn't then that means it doesn't whether they believe me doesn't make it false

I didn't say you were trolling. But your claim to be unable to upload photographs, and not to be able to understand how they might be helpful, certainly comes across as a bit weird. I suggest you try to change this, because otherwise it's going to be very difficult to help you.

That aside, "a single solid 8 pin to two 4 pins" is not the CPU cable that comes with this PSU. You can tell this both from the reviews of the PSU here and here, as well as the manufacturer's website here, under "Specs".

Yeah, you are right on there. Now, don't hate me for posting how they should look like here once more.

It is the cpu cable I have asked all over pcpartpicker they have answered saying the cpu cable that comes with that psu is a single I pin to two 4 pins it has been confirmed by more people than you,and I don't have any way of posting pictures I cannot just simply change it without money just because you have a camera doesn't mean I do, it is the cpu cable your claim is invalid goodbye do not post again

The folks you've asked over at pcpartpicker are mistaken, as proven by the reviews I linked to, as well as the manufacturer's website. I'm amazed you're still arguing this point, particularly as you're the one who's soliciting help. In any case, I should be receiving the same PSU tomorrow (courier permitting), so I'm quite happy to take a photograph and post it here to confirm.

I also find it hard to believe you don't own a mobile telephone with a camera, or don't know anyone from whom you could borrow one. But OK.

No, the picture shows exactly what I've described, and is described in the sources I've cited. Good grief.

Vaguely gesticulating towards what people over at pcpartpicker and reddit have told you isn't very convincing, I'm afraid. By contrast, I've linked you to two professional reviews, as well as the manufacturer's own website. If you aren't prepared to accept those sources, then there's little progress to be made, both on this point and in general. At least I can say I tried!

Nevertheless, as I've said, I should be getting the same unit tomorrow. You can expect pictures if I do so.

Those are a few reviews while there are at least 6 times more people saying it comes with a 8 pin to 4+4 pin cpu cable
