so i already have a single EVGA 1080 SC ACX, considering getting a 2nd to sli, my only concern is with my case mine already gets 71c and they would also be sandwhiched together

Well okay then. You should be able to cap your fps alright, but as per usual:

 

SLI doesn't exactly scale well and yada yada yada. Your temps should be fine as long as there's no REALLY heavy load on both cards. Just get decent ventilation going

well it's between a 2nd 1080 or a new case with a corsair H100I instead of my coolermaster D92 lol

In that case I'd go for the case (see what I did there?) and the H100i

 

You are not really going to benefit from a second 1080, especially due to the poor scaling and micro stuttering of SLI.

You can just buy blower coolers pretty cheap on eBay. Got one for my sc after selling the acx cooler to someone on here.

Getting the case and the H100i would be better. SLI doesn't really work awesomely great with all games. :( Learn it the hard way.
