Thanks for the replies :D

i added more info in another post...when it comes to your question, like W-L said using a dual slot card will block the ports but you should still be able to connect most things just behind the graphics card, the wires will squeeze down when you'll push the second card in...it should be alright.

Hi may i ask u guys if i have a Rx 480 crossfire build will my 2nd gpu be blocking the front IO connectors?

Using dual GPU's will block the area for the front IO connectors so you must install them before the second GPU. Also just to note that you will be losing some perforamnce since the second slot is physically an X16 PCI-E but only wired for X4 connectiviety.

your 2nd GPU will be running at PCIe 2.0 X4 speed though, which will introduce stuttering and undesireable gaming experience...this board is not meant to run crossfire...no, i should say it's meant to run crossfire of lower end GPU...R9 270 crossfire for example...not RX 480.

EDIT: damn...i don't know the specs seem to point out that there are 2 pcie X16 Gen 3 on that board!? which would be ...no it shouldnt be possible on a B150 chipset...i need to learn more.

EDIT: okay...newegg listing is good...this is the PCI slots configuration on this board:

Expansion Slots

PCI Express 3.0 x16
2 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (support x16/x4)*

* The PCI_E3 slot will only run PCIe 3.0 x2 speed when a M.2 SATA storage is installed in M.2 slot (M2_1), and the PCI_E3 slot will be disabled when a M.2 PCIe module is installed in M.2 (M2_1) slot.
PCI Express x1
1 x PCIe 3.0 x1 slot

...so...you'd be running at PCIE X16/X4

Second GPU at PCIE 3.0 X4 is not that bad....it will limit performance a little bit with an RX 480 but nothing you should really be noticing.
