It does have a replaceable graphics card I found for 8$ on eBay do you recommend I try that?

Not worth it, get a new laptop. Also probably not the gpu.

Hello I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 Model Number "PP20L".

The screen will not turn on in any way. There is no codes showing with the indicators. The screen wont turn on when boot and loading to windows.

I have tried using one stick of RAM, and that didn't work. Then I just opened it and took it all apart looking for loose wires and there was not any.

So I put it back together and power it on and it still wont work.

Is there anyone who can help?

Thank You for your time.

Does the rest of it work? Does it show up on the network? Does a external screen work.

Id probably replace it, its works less than 40 bucks these days.

I have plugged in a external screen and all the screen does is go from on to sleep and doesn't turn on.

I think it is loading right but something is not working right to cause the screen not to work on ether of the ports.
