My pc is life 5-6 years old, has a i5 2310 2.90 Ghz overclocked to 3.20 GHz

Now, it has a radeon HD5450 graphics card (2gb) and the performance is shit (with 4gb ram)

If i install ZOTAC GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Graphics Card (Black/Orange) in it and increase the ram to 8gb,

will i get around 150 fps in csgo ? (currently i get 20-30) ? http://www.amazon.in/ZOTAC-GeForce-Graphics-Black-Orange/dp/B00IFZ547Q?ie=UTF8&keywords=zotac gtx 750 ti&linkCode=sl1&linkId=cf626c6affd1099c2376eaad888208cc&qid=1478816085&ref_=as_li_ss_tl&sr=8-1&tag=brianrumao29g-21

do all motherboards support this graphic card ? (mine is a old gigabyte motherboard). (trying to build a budget gaming pc !)

try getting a gtx 1050/1050ti/rx 460 and yes, you will have no issues while playing csgo...

And yes it will support but with a bit less performance (if says pcie 2.0) since those gpus are 3.0

Remember to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we won't going to recieve your answers...

Moved to New Builds and Planning.

The 750ti will be compatible with your PC, but as others said getting something like a RX460 or GTX 1050 will give you better performances and should be in the same price range.

PCIe is backwards compatible so even though your MOBO is 2.0 the 3.0 card will work, performance may be slightly reduced but it'll work fine.

The cards quoted are the bottom range of current gaming cards, they will be compatible with your motherboard and the performance hit will be minimal, I had my HD7870 (roughly equivalent to an RX460) on a old Core 2 Quad system and switching to something recent (Haswell) only gave me 5-6% better performances. So you'll be fine!

Q1. so are you sure i should not buy a new mobo ? and i already have a 4gb ram stick inside, so if i buy a 8gb stick and if i put 1x 4b and 1x 8gb in my rig, will it work, or both need to be the same ?

Q2. My PSU is 230 Watt (or volts whatever), if i go for zotac 750 Ti, (i guess that has to be powered) will i need to upgrade my PSU ?

if you were to buy new mobo psu and gpu you may as well build a new PC and yes you will need to upgrade the psu and the ram depends on the mobo.
