So yesterday I was playing modded COD: WAW zombies with some friends, and then the internet on my computer just cut out. I was on WiFi (it's slightly faster than ethernet for some reason) and when I closed the game there was literally no internet on the device. I then plugged in an ethernet cord and that worked but here's the problem. Windows refuses to accept that it has internet in settings, it says I am disconnected, Edge and Cortana can't connect to the internet, but every other non-Windows program can. An exception to the programs that work are the ones from the Windows Store, Wunderlist (A program or 'app' from the Windows Store) doesn't work. I am writing this post on chrome so there definitely is internet and Discord and all my games work fine. Here is what some Windows says:

In the Network Diagnostics thing "Possible Solution: Network Reset" just unistalls my network drivers and when I reinstall them it still doesn't work. Another weird thing is that in the bottom right in the taskbar, there isn't the internet or sound volume button. So I have to go to control panel whenever I want to use my speakers too.

I am using the Asus M4a97r2.0 motherboard for ethernet and the TP-Link Archer T9e for Wifi. I have reinstalled the most up-to-date drivers for both and that has done nothing. This is a repost, the last topic I made came to no solution so I'm hoping that this time I will get one. Any suggestions? Is a reinstallation of Windows necessary?

That's a very sad windows installation you probably don't have an image recovery?

I have everything I need to reinstall Windows but it would take me a while to get all of my files, programs and games back on my PC.
