CPU temps high while playing BF3?

Hi, I have a 4770k at 3.5ghz (haven't overclocked yet), and my cpu cooler is a be quiet dark rock 2.

 

Are these temps very high for BF3? 50% load? http://puu.sh/56PlF.png - Should I be concerned?

Yeah that's quite high... recheck your thermal compound

If reseating does not help, try changing the fans you have attached to it, as well as nearby fans

Check your thermal paste and cooler mount.

When not at load the fan will slow itself down.

If it is running at 415 rpm that is really low, but is it a 4-pin fan?

with those temps for BF3 you couldn't overclock reseat ur heatsink, understock while stress testing you should get like 65-70C

I think thats a bit high. You should be getting those temps overclocking. Reseat the cooler with fresh thermal compund. Just make sure it is about the size of a grain of rice
