Laptop wont charge

I am currently on vacation and as I arrived I plugged in my laptop to start playing games, I notice that it wasn't charging and it was losing battery, I check the bottom right and it says, plugged in not charging. I have tried restarting the computer, putting it on battery save mode, I thought that maybe the "sport" and high performance mode was just draining the battery too quickly for it to charge, still not working. I have tried different outlets. It was working before I left and I packed the laptop well in a backpack and was very careful with it. This laptop is only a few months old too. 

 

I have another issue as well. It's with the screen. At the top right there is an area that the colors are terrible for dark colors. When there is a dark scene in a movie it just turns grey in that area and you can't see anything in that area. Bright scenes are fine, only dark. Any help on either of these issues would be great, thanks!

Hmm... What laptop? Is it one with an ID pin in the charger for wattage identification?

I went full retard, so I looked at MSI's website and did more research and it wont charge if the battery is at 95% or more.... It's charging now

The screen issue is still happening though, it's an MSI GS60

My guess is likely a bad LCD. Can you take an image of it?

The weird thing is when I bend the screen it goes away, and it's spread out, kind of fades.

I'll bet you have an IPS display. Yeah IPS screens sre super sensitive to bending, if you are careful, try opening up the display assembly and maybe loosen the screws holding the LCD in place (or remove them entirely if the hinges are mechanically sound still) and this might relieve the pressure.

 

My asus gaming laptop and acer chromebook (both have IPS screens) did the same thing
