Hello all .. I'm new to this forum and I need your advice on upgrading my pc with a new graphic card that supports 4k@60hz  (don't know if there is more than 60hz cards) with a must displayport connection because my monitor only accept this option to play 4k.

My pc config : Asus Maximus Vii Gene, i7 4790k , 32GB Ram.

Thanks

Wait until the GTX 1080Ti is released or get a GTX Titan XP if you can't wait.

or potentially Vega or 1080TI

there is no single card that will max out games at 4K right now, but two 1080s should get the job done if the game supports SLI. if you just want a display adapter then even a 750TI will work

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

you have to wait for 1080 ti i think, otherwise you could go sli with 2 1080 or 1070...

im planning on going for a 2-way 1070 sli, but thats mostly because it is a lot of cheap 1070 on craigslist, and 2 1070 outperforms a 1080 in games where sli scales :)

yes then get something like a RX470 or GTX1050TI just because they are cheap and decent if you want to do some gaming or something GPU accelerated
