RX 480 CF

If both are connected to my motherboard, but I only want to use 1 card for a certain game to save power. It should be perfectly fine if I just unplug the 8-pin PCI-E power connector from the PSU right? The PC will work as if there's 1 RX 480 installed, or will I get issues?

Should just be able to go into crimson and turn off crossfire, you can also just cap the game's fps and it should be about as efficient

Yeah, don't go running around unplugging cables. If the system is running it'll shut down instantly since one of the GPUs will tell the motherboard "hey, I'm not getting any power". And then it'll refuse to boot for the same reason.

I was planning to unplug it after I shut it down, but yeah problem solved already. Thanks tho :3
