So I have a noctua nf-f12 on my hyper 212 right now. its janky but it works like a charm right now. I was wondering, what position should the fan be in? Push or pull position? I have it in push and i dont think Im not getting the optimal temperatures right now. Highest i've seen the temp go is around 66'C at 4.2 ghz. Edit: found the voltage its 1.2 volts.

Between push and pull there isn't a big difference for push and pull you usually see a marginal difference of only about 3-4C at most.

There's really no difference. I got whopping 2C difference for the pull (exhaust right next to it) when testing it.

What do you mean by "janky"?

i would say push is better since the design of that fan.

but in general you won't notice huge differences

Specs: Ryzen 9800X3D 5425MHz - ASUS TUF RTX 4080 super - G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64GB 6400MT/s CL26 -  Gigabyte X870 AORUS Elite Wifi7 ICE - Torrent Fractal Design white - EVGA 850W Supernova G2 80+ Gold - Noctua NH-U12A

i meant that the whole thing looks out of place. A poop colored noctua fan with a red and black theme looks awful LOL

Should have thought that before getting Noctua then.

It's a minor thing. I prefer functionality over looks. If it does look ugly I can deal with it since it works so good. Also the fan was on sale. 10 dollars why not? I can paint it too if it bugs me.
