6600k OC 4.2ghz RAM bottleneck?

G'day guys just need some help with my PC performance. I over clocked a 6600k to 4.2ghz but in geek bench 4 it only managed to get a score of around 4000(single) and 13000 (Multi) which is not all that great compared to other scores. I got a 8gb stick of Kingston value ram so I'm not sure if the ram is bottlenecking the cpu. If anyone knows what's going on plz help. Cheers!

It's probably the ram yes.  Geekbench gives a big score bump for faster RAM

Yeah I'll probably get another stick of 8gb value ram but does ram speed even matter? Is kingston value ram ok?
