Hi! I have chosen about 3 drones for my 'entry' level cheapo drone. I have the Syma X5C and the X5UW, and I have the UDI U818A HD+. Costwise, the X5C is the cheapest at 639K RP, and the U818A is the most expensive at 2.6 million RP. I don't know why the U818A is so highly rated, According to reviews, the 9 min battery life is bs, it's at 5 mins (but it does come with a extra battery), and the lightweight and the frame of it makes it very unstable even with low winds, but at websites like this one, it's editors choice, highly recommended, etc. For the X5UW, I like it's phantom-like design with the battery, and it's camera, etc. The X5C seems like a good drone too, having a smart rating of 96, while the U818A and the X5Uw have 87 and 86, but I personally like the live view that the U818A and the X5UW has.

I really don't know what to choose, the U818A and X5C have very high rating for an unknown reason, and why the X5UW is rated very low. Which of these 3 should I choose, or are all of these options bad? If so, please suggest me a drone that is pretty cheap but can perform. Thanks!

I'd probably get one of the Symas. I dont have much expertise in pre-built drones but I've heard good thing about Syma.

I've never even heard of any of these, but I'm personally going the route of building my own drone.

The X5UW was by far the worst drone I had so far. It was even worse than my parrot minidrone. I am planning to either get a pre-build fpv drone for the cheap.

Why exactly was it the worst drone you've has so far? How many drones have you had to compare with this experience?
