Hey guys, I'm currently planning on purchasing the Asus ROG swift (PG248Q), and was wondering whether MacOS (I am currently using a Late 2015 5K iMac) would out of the box support the native refresh rate of 144hz. I have also wondered whether my AMD gpu (Radeon R9 M390) would even be able to drive the monitor, as this monitor is designed for Nvidia cards. Thanks in advance.

Isn't the PG248Q a 180Hz monitor? Idk if MacOS supports 180Hz but yes it can work with the GPU, Gsync just wont work. I don't know if it can push that high of a framerate though.

It is overclockable up to 180hz but I am pretty sure it runs at native 144hz. I don't mind not being able to run G-Sync, especially at high frame rates such as 144hz.
