My US package forwarder

Jack the Stripper

Has anyone used this service?

I want to know how it works.

I sign up for their services and I can then buy stuff on Walmart.com and Amazon.com and get it shipped to Canada.

Should I pick a major mail hub like Seattle WA to get it to Western Canada for cheaper.

I really want to know how much extra it is going to cost, because I can get an item shipped to Seattle WA for free, then the US Package Forwarder just rips off the old delivery sheet and pastes on a new delivery sheet, estimates the cost to ship then bills me. Is that how it works?

How do I get a feel for how much it will cost, do I just use the FedEx, UPS, USPS postage esimator?

I am thinking I will try these guys https://www.myus.com if they got an office near where I live.

I cant and have no way of crossing the border to pick shit up.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!! I always figured there was a hitch

$20 item 3.3lbs 3.5x4.5x5.5"

Why are you asking us? You should be asking the company you're looking at, as they likely won't all be the same.

There are numerous choices for that kind of service, and they're all a little different.

  • Yes, it makes sense to ship it to a location closer to you. Seattle would be a good choice, if you're on that side of the country.
  • You could try using the cost estimators, however if they're doing bulk ordering they'll have a business account and get preferred rates. You have no way of knowing what said rates are.
  • If you're getting something off eBay, just get it shipped to Canada. If it's in HK it should ship to Canada for free as well.
  • Those costs are insane. Definitely not worth it, and honestly not really saving you any money.
  • Honestly, if you're at all close to the border you should just get a passport.
