CPU : FX8320 (Processor Cooler : Be Quiet! Darkrock Pro Slim)

Motherboard : AsRock 960GM-VGS3

RAM: G.Skill Rpijaws 4GB x2
GPU: MSI RX480 4G Gaming X

PSU: EVGA 500W 80 Plus
Storage : 1x Samsung Evo 250 GB SSD
2 case fans

So I finished installing the new Darkrock Pro Slim Cooler for my CPU. I had to take out the CPU out of the socket to clean the old paste completely, as it was spread towards the edges too. I didn't realize that I had to reinstall the Graphics Drivers again. So after updating the drivers for my RX 480, I ran some Unigine Heven benchmark to test the PC. At first, with MSI Gaming App's OC mode (1316 MHz Coreclock, and 1775MHz VRAM Frequency) I ran into some problems. Towards the end of benchmark, I started getting lower than 20 FPS which gradually dropped down to 2. The 2nd benchmark I did ran with no errors, with some tweaks I applied with MSI Afterburner. The next benchmark however was not successful and so I captured a screenshot of the chart generated by MSI Afterburner.

I ran a game (Blade and Soul) and after 1 mins the framerate drops gradually dropped to 5. Once the PC crashed while playing a game, I had to seek some advice from the professionals here at Linustechtips.com

Any help would be much appriciated.

Thanks,

Well your GPU definitely wasn't throttling due to temperature since it never got above 74 degrees.

I would first uninstall your video drivers using DDU and then reinstall them. If nothing changes, do the same again but with a previous driver.

How are your CPU temps?

My GPU is still having the issue.

Is it maybe caused by my CPU? The new cooler ( Be Quiet! Darkrock Pro Slim) I'm using has 120 TDP and my CPU (FX-8320) has 125 TDP. I posted on the forums few weeks ago and I was told that the temp will be fine as long as I don't overclock.
