So I just installed a new aio cooler and turned it on to see if everything was working . It was. Then I turn my ps4 on and try out my new speakers for music. And then I go back to my PC and it won't turn on. It doesn't post. It will sit idle and like it's about to turn on but then it just shuts itself off.

PSU overload? Can your psu handle the requirements of your pc? Does it happen even if you don't turn on your ps4? Specs would also be nice

I have a 5820k and a 980 ti with an 860w power supply from Corsair I think I'm good buddy.

When you turn your pc on do your IO cooler fans spin at all? Do any fans spin, and do you hear a click at all when you press the power button?

Everything turns on like normal the it just does that for about 30 seconds and poof it's off

This sounds like thermal shutdown, your cpu is overheating when it is loading windows, bios etc. I would check to see if you have installed your IO cooler correctly since that is what is cooling your cpu.

My CPU cooler is making contact with the CPU and when I feel metal on the back it doesn't feel very hot so there's no way it's thermal shutdown

If your IO cooler fans are spinning and it has only happened since you have installed it then it has to be overheating. Are your IO fans spinning and did you put thermal compound on (just checking lol)

It worked when I installed it the first time but I only got it to the BIOS menu and it said it was at 32c
