Does this cooler fits in my case

Guys I need your knowledge, will a Cooler Master Hyper 612 V.2 fit in my case (Thermaltake A31 Chaser) which indicates a maximum of 160mm for an air cooler

I would say MAYBE. but if it did it would be a very tight fit as the height limitation is the just under the height of the cooler by .4 mm

That's a tight squeeze.  It'll probably be ever slightly too high for the case if you follow the specs.  My case has a maximum cooler height of 168mm and my cooler is 165mm so when I look inside it seems pretty accurate.

0.4mm is basically touching.But let's not forget manufacturing tolerances.. 0.4mm is probably the size of a hair... I don't know any metal component that can stay within the width of a hair, especially not at that price.

that and it would expand as it heats so would probably end up touching if it wasnt already
