You are probably going to want to get a better PSU. If your PSU dies, you risk killing your motherboard, and GPU and other parts of your PC that are much more expensive. There are some people on this forum who would argue that the PSU is the most important part of your PC because of that.

That PSU definitely seems shoddy. Always make sure you have a good power supply from a reputable manufacturer. I'd check to make sure it runs on at least a single 12V rail and can actually output the wattage it says it can. Also, the RX 480 8GB is a far better buy. It's usually cheaper and performs better in DX12 and Vulkan, as well as about tying the 1060 in DX11 games. This will keep improving.

Your build could certainly be better for how much you're paying for it.

Here's what I'd pick: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yqQKnn

It's in USD but I think it could help.

It's 4,769 INR roughly, using Google's calculations. It's worth every penny though; it's one of the best 550W PSUs you can buy and I've been eyeing it myself.

It destroys the 1060 in everything but DX11, where it trades blows with the 1060. Over time, optimization for the AMD drivers will continue to improve and the RX 480 is by far the better buy at this price.

Better off with a 4GB 480 man, mostly for free-sync savings, but also for the DX12/Vulkan future

it's already caught up for the most part in DX11

Also can't make suggestions without knowing your budget/country and display set up

**
Looks like India, are AMD's prices still totally borked there? I'd suggest a 6gb 1060 minimum in that case

and ya that PSU is probably a fire hazard look for a seasonic PSU of some kind most likely

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Last time I looked at india's pricing a 380 was as much as a 970

What was the price difference for 480s?

I wouldn't say it's really worth buying an i5 6400 over an i3 6100, the i3 6100 is a beast for the money

Did you even look at the benchmarks? it's over 60fps in most of the games, an i3 6100 is perfectly fine for 60hz gaming

Some games are DX12 only yes, not too many, there will probably be more DX12 exclusive games in the future because microsoft wants to force everyone to use windows 10

also you didn't answer about the price difference on the 480...although you already ordered the 1060?
