Recently I completed my build. I installed windows on a usb, and setup went smoothly. Just one issue: I can't connect to wifi, and wifi isn't even in option in network settings. My mobo came with a disk and I haven't used it yet, I assume its the drivers, will this solve my problem?

Does your motherboard have wifi? Did you get a wireless card?

I didn't get a wireless card- I thought the mobo would have wifi onboard. I have a asrock z170m pro4s MOBO. Also my friend built half of it for me...

Certainly doesn't seem to have Wi-Fi built in, why would you expect it to? (:

Sig under construction.

Or even a usb dongle, but a pci one would be much better.

I've not had a very good experience building my pc, I had to pay a lot more money because of stupid stuff- i dont feel like internal building at this moment. What would be a good USB Wifi adapter?

A PCIE wireless card would be a much better option, and it's going to be as simple as installing it into an available PCIE slot, would take you ten minutes to install at most.
