Hard drive malfunction

The hard drive on my computer said its full on space even though I don't have much downloaded on there. Its a 1TB drive and this started happening after cleaning the pc. All the other components work fine. Every 5 mins or so the screen freezes and the computer crashes. I cant even get into the bios because it freezes as well. Now i cant even turn on the computer because it freezes at startup. Should I just buy a new SSD/HDD and recovery disk?

8gb ram

if you cannot boot into the BIOS, even with the HDD disconnected, it ain't your HDD bro.

you dont need the harddrive to get into the bios

completely unplug the harddrive from your pc and try booting it up again. this time just go straight to bios by hitting delete

the bios freezes even after the hard drive is unplugged. Any suggestions?
