Hello all,

I plan to upgrade my PC due to a severe GPU bottle neck, and this would require a new PSU, so I would just like to ensure that the EVGA G2 550W has enough connectors for a MoBo, SSD, HDD, 8 Pin GPU, 3 case fans and lights, and anything else I may have forgotten generally used. The wattage is fine, and I just need to know that I would have enough physical connectors.

Thanks, Protex

Yes the G2 series is compatible with just about everything, including having 2 6+2 PCI-e cables, 3 sata power as well as motherboard and cpu. Im not sure what you mean with the fans though. Those should be connected to your motherboard.

CPU: I5 4590 Motherboard: ASROCK H97 Pro4 Ram: XPG 16gb v2.0 4x4 kit  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 550w Supernova G2 Storage: 128 gb Sandisk SSD + 525gb Mx300 SSD Cooling: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP Case: Zalman T2 Sound: Logitech Z506 5.1 Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Keyboard: DBPower LED

Realised that after posting. Would case LEDs be connected to MoBo too?

Either through a USB header or a molex connection to your PSU or through SATA power. Could be any number of things. Regardless, an EVGA G2 will do just fine for you.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
