NVMe isn't really worth it for most people.

I thought the same until I installed one on a colleagues computer.  The difference between that and even a SATA mounted SSD was considerable

I used to have a k70 with cherry mx red switches and i loved it.  Have you looked into a NVMe drive?  Prices have gone up a tad since the holidays, but they're still worth it.

I'll check it out. Thanks for the help!

2 OCZ Trions in Raid 0 or Raid 1?

Get another 500-1tb SSD for your game library.  At least that's what I would do.  More RAM will definitely help you out in the future but 8gb is still plenty for the most part unless you begin recording/streaming.

The only reason I bought that rx was cause I got a killer deal on it. I got it for $99 and with an included game (civ 6). This is new on newegg.

what i said was purely anecdotal.  Sorry, I thought that kinda went without saying.  I really don't care about your benchmarks.
