BF1 release multiplayer gameplay with framecounter (MSI AB)

Includes GTX 970 (EVGA FTW edition) on Ultra preset at 1080p

All on i7-4790K, 16GB DDR3 2400Mhz, mobo inconsequential without OC

On factory speeds - 1216Mhz and 1367Mhz on core and boost clock respectively

Recorded with Shadowplay (account for ~5% performance hit)

Maps played with 970 @ 1080p: Sinai Desert and Monte Grappa, Conquest, don't know how many players.

No, that is not my footage. I am not the uploader. I don't have a 970.

Try a round in those maps to see if your perf stacks up.

Lol i perfectly remember playng this maps and not getting those fps....

Now, i ran a cpu benchmark... and something is wrong with it...  multi core cpu score is normally at 15k score (that's what the website says) and.... mine is only at  7843....  theres something wrong here...

Look at your CPU metrics.

Something is tanking it to 100% and your GPU is not capable of reaching 100% usage.

This is a book CPU Bottleneck. Check background processes, that CPU is more than capable of running BF1 with a 970.

Do you have HyperThreading enabled? Is your CPU maintaining stable clock speeds during heavy load?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION
AIO: Corsair H150i Pro RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic PSU: Corsair RM850x White

Is your CPU utilization maxed out while playing? It shouldn't be.

If that's the case, something is wrong. If you play on DX12 and framerate is significantly better, that confirms a CPU issue.

i will see now the cpu usage... give me a sec.

That is the CPU LAG of an i5....

I had same exact situation with my i5...

You probably for some reason don't have Hyper-threading "ON" and so you use only 4 threads...

Your cpu is capable of 8 threads... which will reduce cpu usage to 50% and then no more lag !!!

How to turn "on" Hyperthreading ???

Go in bios -- > Reboot computer, spam DEL button and F2 F1 or whatever the key is to enter your BIOS.

When in bios, go to advanced settings, try to find "CPU Settings" or " Advanced CPU settings " depending on your motherboard...

You should see option "hyperthreading" , turn that  ON !!!

It is supposed to be at ON by default, so that's weird....

If it is already ON , then you have another issue, which i have no clue :P

You can start by verifying your BIOS then tell us here if it hyperthreading was at on or off, so if it was at off at least we know that was probably the issue ! if not, then we will try to help you further
