I pay for 100 download/upload but wireless I'm getting 50 download and upload and 6 ping based off speedtest. Should I get an ethernet cable and if so which one thats less wires

Internet speed =/= network speed.  You need to determine which is having the issue.

Get an ethernet cable and plug directly into the router/modem.Then test.
