Apeman action camera - no video mode...

I *think* it needs an older, lower capacity SDHC card, and not an SDXC card. Though I can't find any definitive guide for that camera, and if it works in photo mode it SHOULD work in video mode as well. UHS-1 would be more than fine though.

Have you formatted the memory card in the camera?

Does anyone here have experience using apeman action cameras? From looking around, every video says that you can alternate between Picture, Video and the Settings by pressing the Mode button on the front of the camera. However, video mode only appears to me when my SD card is not in the camera. When I put the SD card into the camera, it turns off. Then, when I turn it back on with the SD card in the camera, it says "Please Insert card".

I can't see this being a problem with the SD card since it's 100% brand new.

Anyone know what might cause this?

Thanks.

Not familiar with the camera, but the SD card could be too slow to handle video.

Does the card work in photo mode? If not, then you might just need to format it.

It works in photo mode just fine. It's using a Sandisk Ultra PLUS 64 GB.

This one to be exact https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Ultra-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B013UDL58E/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1482844752&sr=1-4&keywords=64gb+micro+sd

I ended up buying a 32GB SDHC micro SD card yesterday and BOOM video now works, so I guess that was the problem lol. Thanks for the help with that :)
