i did go over-the top with CPU, and a bit underkill with gpu, maybe get beefier GPU and weaker cpu. But, you can undervolt it and leave it as it is, or overclock, depends on temps. I would also suggest maybe get cuple fans too cool system down.

NOTE: the 6800K is a PLACEHOLDER for one of two options. if you can hold out until Steamroller comes out, i recommend replacing the 6800K in this list with the top Steamroller APU. if not, replace the 6800K with an Athlon II X4 760K, which is basically a much-cheaper 5800K with the iGPU disabled, and buy an 8GB kit of 1600MHz RAM.

I chose an AMD system because Steamroller is right around the corner, which is supposed to get better single-threaded performance and, if the rumors are true, an iGPU roughly equivalent to an R7 260X - which also explains the discrete GPU and the motherboard (somehow not listed on PCPP even though it's on sale at Newegg). why the fast RAM? APUs love fast RAM.

Very nice system ! I would recommend this pick. You can bring down cost by having only 1 stick of 8gb ram and for future upgradibility, since it has only 2 slots. There is even some wiggle room for better GPU.

thank you very much, i really appreciate it!

i chose two 4GB sticks because you wouldn't need more than 8GB of RAM for gaming (unless, of course, you insist on fitting LoL on a RAM drive). plus, having two sticks lets you use dual-channel memory, which can help boost performance... and an APU is going to need all the memory performance it can get.

Thanks guys just want to know which one is better the asrock h87m-ITX or the asrock h81m-ITX

H87 has more features. Performance-wise, all lga 1150 mobos are pretty much the same.

Do you need a copy of Windows?

What kind of games is he playing?
