follow this and will be fine :)

I have a 250gb ssd and a 1tb hard drive in my brand new pc. When setting up the os, in order to avoid confusion. I had only the ssd plugged in so it could only install on the ssd, and not andccidentaly the hard drive. When I was done, I took the panel off and connected the hard drive to SATA 3_1 (the SSD was connected to 3_0), yet when I power the pc on, all it shows is the 250gb ssd, not the hard drive. This is my list if it helps in any way

Might sound simple but did you remember to connect the power cable back to the hdd?

I think so, but can't say I've checked. I'm going to try the other suggestions before I do so because putting the panel back on my case is a pain

Oh, I see it in the manager, but it popped up with a couple other things first and I don't want to press anything and screw it up

It says it is unallocated
