Playing game on 1080p below on 4K monitor, are the image still gonna be sharp?

I plan to buying a 4K monitor, but my pc spec doesn't powerful enough to play on 4K

and is buying a G-Sync compatible monitor worth it?

If you don't even have a computer powerful enough to run games at 4k, then why waste money buying a 4k monitor? especially with g-sync. Just grab a QHD/1440p monitor with g-sync. Or better yet, just upgrade your computer.
