How much FPS will I loose adding a second monitor?

Go to solution Solved by ARikozuM,

No. The 2nd monitor barely takes a few Mhz to power from the GPU.

It's one reason why a 730 can still power three monitors for general use.

I'd like to know how much performance i'll lose from just adding another 1080p monitor to my current setup I'm getting a new 144hz monitor this Christmas so It'd just be nice to know.

If you need to know before answering My current specs are

i5 6600K OC'd to 4.4 Ghz

16GB of DDR4 RAM

Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070

Technically, his question could have been about unlocking the frame-rate by adding a 2nd monitor. You're just assuming what he meant.

Edit: This was a joke.

When somehing is loose, it means that it is not tight. Like a rope. Not the same as when you lose something, which is the opposite of gaining it.
