598SE's amp under <£40

I'm looking for an amp for my Sennheiser 598 headphones. Can be a used one from eBay but must be available in UK.

Also doesn't have to be just a headphone AMP because I think most of them are quite expensive, I mean these things:

Though I don't know if these have headphone amp's, I am not really good at this sort of stuff xD (well not for cheaper stuff :)). Any model would be fine for as long as it's a good one.. Oh and do correct me if this is a stupid idea xD

The 598 doesn't really require an amp.

I know :D, that's why I don't want to go over 40. Just looking for something to make it sound better when connected to PC and laptop so why not an older Hi-Fi thing? :D

A stupid iPod makes these sound better than on an HP laptop I have, though on PC and on the lenevo laptop sounds alright-ish.

The headout on an old receiver could be as bad as laptop audio. Get a cheapo syba USB audio adapter or just live with the inferior quality. The difference should be minimal if you have the audio on the laptop configured correctly.

Ok ok, how about a good headphone amp that I could use in the future if I upgrade my 598SE's but without breaking my bank balance.

I don't think you need one. 598SE itself is pretty easy to drive, have you tried them on? does the volume reach to the point which you cannot tolerate it? If it can reach up to that volume, you don't need an amp imo.

Sound will not get any better even with a dac or amp especially at that price. It's better to get a better headphone itself than getting an amp/dac, would be waste of cash if you're getting it.
