Urbanite XL Wireless PC Issue

So I've had this headset for quite some time now and I love them. They work great with my old ipod touch and my phone. The issue is that, when I connect it to my PC, it sounds god awful and is barely even usable. I've got a Asus Maximus Formula VIII with the latest bluetooth drivers. Yet it so bad, anyone know of how to fix this? The only thing I could possibly think of is buying a PCIe bluetooth card or something.
