do you plan on overclocking.  if not i would swap the cooler for an air cooler and maybe use the money you saved to get a i7 instead since it will help alot with programing and other heavily threaded applications.

Definitely no to the WD Black drive. They run hot, which is bad in a cramped little ITX case like the Elite 130, they're loud, and the only time you notice the extra speed is if you're using a WD Blue drive on the same PC at the same time. Otherwise, you'd never know.

Just about any 1TB hard drive by WD, Seagate, Hitachi or Toshiba is fine these days, and I'd highly recommend something like a WD Blue, Seagate Barracuda or Hitachi Deskstar/Ultrastar over a WD Black. It's just a poor value and isn't really worth the higher price.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

500GB should be enough to last a while, you can add a hard drive later.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

The Elite 130 can't take much of an air cooler at all. Certainly not one that would outperform a 120mm AIO.

I was planning to do some overclocking, but I think if I could upgrade to an i7 it would be worth it.
what low profile air cooler would you recommend, since the Elite 130 doesn't have that much space for a standard air cooler.

maybe a Silverstone NT06-P or even a cooler master gemini are good but when you bring over clocking into the equation it becomes a bit more difficult

I do like Silverstone case the fact that you can practically carry it in a laptop bag.
if I don't get the 6600K I wouldn't need AIO cooler.
However I would like 16 gigs for all those chrome tabs :P

Hmm, how can we fit 16GB RAM?

With the small case I always knew that overclocking might not be on that table.

Not just that the additional cost of an OC mini-ITX motherboard is not small

That seems pretty good, I can always upgrade my storage as time goes on,
I think because I was set on overclocking I made some of the wrong choices, but I like the looks of this build.

That's a really good price for an IPS monitor, I'll definitely have a look.

Honestly the performance difference is not noticeable, it's not like going from 1050 Ti to 470, or from 1060 to 1070. That's why I keep giving people the $220 part and not the $260 one.
