FX 8300 overclocking issues

Hey guys I just recently for my Watercooling setup and I'm trying to overclock my FX 8300 chip but after a few Attempts that seemed promising my PC crashed and after I rebooted everything became underclocked slightly Ram, CPU, HT speed. by like 10mhz and now it crashes frequently and I'm not sure if its data corruption or what.

Did you stress test your overclock? You always stress test your overclock. And if it's unstable, push more voltage through it.

Thats what I was attempting to do when it crashed like an hour in.

Time to increase voltage then. Also keep an eye on every other setting that affects system stability, like RAM speeds and such.

Considering you're on a custom loop you can probably do 1.4V no problem

yeah but every thing is underclocked still like 3.29ghz instead of 3.3ghz and it's the same even when I try to increase the OC this also effects ram and the HT link speed.

I have a shot mobo that has a 4to1 vrm so it fucks up when I try to pass 1.33v

Ah you're stuck with low clocks then. Lower clockspeeds until you pass the 8 hour stress test

yeah but im dtill trying to fix the main problem that everything is running slower than it should at stock speeds in trying to fix that first.

Step one whenever you fuck everything: load optimized defaults in your motherboard (or clear your CMOS using a button or jumper)
