Hi, I am from Malta (Europe). This new PC is meant for gaming, I always wanted to get a nice high-end gaming PC and I finally have the money for it. Will be playing multiple games such as witcher 3, dishonored 2, fallout, skyrim...other upcoming games such as cyberpunk so it would be nice for my system to also be future proof. I think with these specs my PC should hold up for quite some time, though you can never know what new technologies might come out.

I used this local store page to build by PC. They offer a nice discount when buying all of the important computer parts from them. I have a big budget but I definitely would not go over 2000 euro. I would be very happy to stay around 1500 euro.

I currently use 1080p with 60Hz monitor but I plan to get a 1440p monitor with higher Hz then use my current 1080p as a side monitor for multiple window browsing. I already have a windows 10 OS and other peripherals.

So what are your thoughts? Any problems in the builds I might not be aware of or overlooked? I don't see the PC case as such a big deal so I am totally open for suggestions, I basically let my brother choose it for me because there are so many variations I don't quite know which would be best.

That's a decent build and I wouldn't change anything in it.

That PSU is a bit overkill, you don't need more than a 500W really.

Well depends on the best efficency. PSU are best at 80% I think (there are charts to look at) and with overclocked i7 he would be getting over 90%.

Even if I decide to overclock and/or possibly if I decide to go for SLI configuration in the future? However I kinda doubt I will ever go SLI since I read in many places that it doesn't seem to be worth it unless going with very high resolutions.

Yeah, I think peak efficiency is somewhere around the 75-80%. An i7-6700k at base is ~95W, 1070 is ~150W allowing ~80W for other components it's somewhere 350W (70% load). I should have specified only reducing the capacity, but still get a high efficiency / modular PSU.

If you want to go SLI in the future then probably move to a ~600W PSU, although personally I don't think it's worth the extra $, effort and issues related to it.

The Noctua D15 won't fit in the Bitfenix case. The 550W version of the EVGA G2 is enough for a single GTX 1070.

Thanks for pointing that out. I wasn't sure about dimensions but I guess I missed that. I used pcpartpicker to find new case.
