Hello!

Right now I'm searching for a 2nd monitor. My current one is some cheap 21'' 1080p 60hz AOC one, so I would like to get a new one,

Before I'll provide more info about my current choices, here are some information for what I'm going to use it: usually I'm playing games, mostly Minecraft, but sometimes even GTA, BF1, CSGO etc. I've an average size Youtube channel in my country, where I upload mostly Minecraft videos, but sometimes other games too. So overall - for gaming and video editing.

I can't decide what should I choose, so I'm asking for a help to choose. Both monitors are similar in prices, also don't give me other monitors, because I would like to get them asap in my local online store...

BENQ ZOWIE XL2411 or LG 24GM77-B? They're both 24'' 144hz monitors, but as I've read the LG is a bit better in color accuracy, but Benq better in gaming. Give your opinions of what should I choose, thanks in advance.

With minecraft, I might even consider using an old CRT screen... But that's just me.

Considering you play more modern games, I would go for the BenQ, because of "better in gaming".

"a bit better in color accuracy" isn't THAT important for youtube content I think, because other people will use other/cheaper/crappy screens which won't even notice the difference in your youtube vids.

good Q! This is asked a lot and I went back and fort over and over again when I made my decisions. I would gather user reviews study them, and set a side the reviews that don't apply to you, or your needs. I used price and "official reviews" as my semi "guide". Two things I found when buying TV's Monitors...ects A) 144hz is AWESOME!,and you really can't go backwards :) :(  B) You can not really tell the difference unless they are side by side and you will be happy either way! One last thing that I never thought would come into play that made a huge difference  for me  was my ASUS 144hz monitor's adjustable features made it sooooooo......... much better. Believe me or not, but the ergonomics ie " height, swivel" so you can get a straight on view are intangible and more important than a bigger screen

I'm getting the LG for Christmas, and I've only seen good things about it (except it being TN, but there's no real alternative there), so I'd say go with that one. I don't know much about the BenQ, so my opinion is pretty biased to be honest.

Best regards, Mikkel
