My DC Input jack is breaking/broken

Hi, I want to say first off this is not a post for me but for my sister, She has a MSI G72 Q2C Apache NOT PRO I was walking and I pulled on the power wire and it ripped out. She plugged it back in, no problems, don't do it again, life went on, until... A few days later, the laptop would randomly stop charging, we opened the laptop up and it looked fine, but something was wrong we pulled metal flaps inward so they connected with the charger. Didn't seem to disconnect too much afterwards. Then one day afterwards she unplugged the charger and it was hot, not like "Oh, gosh, that's hot." No, like "Ow, that's really hot!" and it burned her finger a bit. We opened the laptop back up to check it out and were amazed that the DC input jack is literally burning its self to the point that the black protection covering around one of the wires is MELTING well.... Melted. Now, its still charges, terribly and the situation has gotten worse since the day we found out something was wrong, before we could charge it, it got hot, it sucked but it charged, now, it flickers the screen (what happens to most laptops when you plug the charger in is the screen gets brighter and dims when it is unplugged) and still gets hot. We have tried buying a replacement on amazon this link here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z9H81AK?ref_=pe_1811570_136791410_E_Asin_Title   but when we plugged in the charger it sparked and upon that we noticed the red and black wires were opposite to the OEM part.

Now, we are trying to find a solution to this problem I'm getting pictures up of EVERYTHING, I know I didn't put a lot of software information about the computer its self because I figured it didn't apply, it doesn't ever give a windows error, and it seems like all parts are working 100% we have even tried swapping my charger for my ASUS X550Z and same results. We tried contacting the manufacturer MSI, they told us that we have to send the entire unit, pay for shipping and packaging. Which, we are trying to avoid, we can solder if we have to but we just want to replace this small part, its really easy to replace just finding the part is, impossible. What I need help on is there a site for laptop parts that we will know 100% that it will work for this specific laptop? Or maybe is there another solution?

What can we do?

Buy the new part off Ebay.  Should come with the whole wire.  Replace... you're done.  You got lucky it wasn't a solder on piece.

Also, make sure the middle prong from the charge port ins't stuck in the charger itself.
