Hey there,

this is my first post not just on LTT forum but any forum, so if i broke any rules/posted this wrong my apologies....

Anyway the reason for this is i'm in dire need of some advice regarding networking  as the title might suggest.

Basically my situation is as follows. I'm trying to play an mmo called black desert online and i keep getting disconnects in fact i cannot even establish a connection to the server i simply load and the client instantly drops me.... 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time i can stay online for maybe 24 hours straight with no problems. The thing that has me confused is if i unplug my Ethernet cable then tether my 4G mobile data from my phone the game works perfect 100% of the time. any ideas as to what might be causing this?

To clarify things a little on my home connection i have 1Gbps download and 500Mbps upload with fibre optic internet, using cat 6a Ethernet cables with gigabit NIC 0% packet loss, 1ms jitter and all related ports to the game are open on my router. my phones 4G on the other hand is 7Mbps download and 1Mbps upload with 4ms jitter and 2%packet loss.

since the game works perfect while using my phones internet im confident its not a problem with my computer. (maybe that network adapter?) I considered that maybe its somthing to do with how my ISP handles traffic but i wouldent even know what to ask them.

Any and all help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
