Looking for a new keyboard

I have been using the Logitech G710+ for a few years now and would like an upgrade. I was considering the Das Keyboard 4 Professional but I heard there are some pretty bad quality control issues, which is sad because it looks like a nice keyboard. I don't want anything super "gamery". I prefer Cherry MX browns. No budget. Will be using for programming and gaming. Suggestions? Thank you.

what did you not like about the G710+ ?

It's not that I didn't like it but it's multiple years old and a couple of the key caps are broken. I could buy a new set of key caps but it's like $40 for new keys lol. I kinda like to refresh every few years anyways for my peripherals. It still works really good besides a few of the keys breaking.

Maybe the G610/G810 cause the G910 does have that gamery look

Good idea. I think I would avoid logitech's romer caps and stick with cherry keys but I have been looking hard at the G610. Right now it's kind of my current choice.

I like the romer keys on my G910 but I guess it's personal preference.

k70 LUX is a great keyboard. It's pretty cheap on amazon right now at only $80 for cherry MX Brown red LED. It doesn't have a gamery look and I have it and honestly it's great and feels nice to type on and the wrist rest feels a lot more comfortable than how it may look at first.

Can't go wrong with a k70, For gaming, I would suggest the rapid fire switch and for typing/gaming the brown switches but you really need to go to a store and try the switches out.

Yeah I'm really not sure any store that has a wide selection of any of these higher end keyboards to try out. Best buy sometimes has a few but not very many.

Well I was looking at Das keyboards which don't have backlight which I do kind of want. I don't really care about fancy colors, although it would be a cool feature. Preferably I would like a backlight, but if it was just white backlight I wouldn't care too much. I could always change an RGB one to white but I heard for some reason RGB white is not very good as straight white backlighted keyboards. I had macro keys on my G710+ and honestly never used them in 3 years so I don't care. Media controls are kind of nice but not absolutely essential. Although I want a higher end keyboard and most come with media controls. Overall I want an extremely high performing, highly reliable, backlight keyboard (possible RGB but not required), that isn't super "gamery". I would prefer MX Cherry switches but am not totally against proprietary switches, but want to avoid weird keycaps like on the logitech g910 keyboards. Kind of just want regular MX cherry brown keys and regular key caps.
