so i am not planning to overclock/watercool soon but i am going to university and am predicting that i wont have money for a while. basically i am looking for the case that will be more watercool-friendly because i will probably do so in the next few years, but i will be building a machine this holiday season. i know that the 210 has 2 fan mounts on top and the one doesnt. idk, i know thats better for getting a bigger res PLUS the 210 looks cooler to me. however, the one costs more so it may have better performance which i value over aesthetics.

this comparison may be a landslide but i have no clue (n00b)so thats why im here. which one is most "future-proof"???? (yes, i know cases are the most future proof components ever and that that term in itself is redundant.)  Is it a tie???? LMK

thank you Linasia(if linus was a country)

I like the Core 1000 by fractal personally. Though either case are nice. Consider, though, you CAN mod cases easily with a Jigsaw.

So i'd lean to a cheap one.

thanks for that recommendation. i will deff consider it.

but sorry dude, this will be my first full build so me trying to mod is equivalent to burning money lol.

i will try and learn up on modding though, saving money on the build in any way is always welcome,

Costing more doesn't mean it performs better.

It sounds like the source 210 elite fits the bill. It's a great case for the price.

Both are great cases.

If you don't feel like modding, the Source 210 Window has a variant with a Window in it. It looks slick..

I had the antec one and hated it. Not enough room for cabling in the back, not enough room to run the 8 pin up behind the motherboard tray, large VRM heatsinks on the motherboard prevent a radiator and fan from being in the top 120mm fan slot.

The biggest thing by far was the b*tch it was for cable mgmt.

Looked nice though...Go with the FD Core series

The NZXT Source 210 is a much better case than the Antec One. Both are budget range cases but the Source 210 is a much better quality case. The recommendation of the Fractal Design Core 1000 was a great suggestion. Fractal cases are very nice.
